  1. Weight loss is generally not what people want. People want *fat* loss. They want to preserve lean mass (whether they realize that or not). Reducing fat mass and maintaining or increasing lean mass (to a point) improves health outcomes. Lean mass is metabolically important, and we lose it as we age, so encouraging any “weight loss” comes with the risk of impairing long-term health.
    16:38 – Repeat the “science.” Scientific publications often have the problem of lacking reproducibility. If there’s only one study, it’s questionable at best. It’s not definitive proof of how people should live their lives.

    29:53 – This point is brought up frequently. Why is cloudiness in blood from eating a fatty meal bad — especially if it goes away with time? So one shouldn’t eat cashews and other nuts?

  3. I am SO disappointed in both of you for NOT coming forward with the truth about the hysteria around a virus that turns out to be no more dangerous than the seasonal flu, if that! What’s up with you? Our civil and human rights are being ripped from us, countless millions plunged into poverty, and you have nothing to say? I hear that Dr. Greger is pro vaccine…….talk about a corrupt industry! Both of you, shame shame shame. Arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic anybody? Listen to this lecture on weight loss while millions of people worldwide will soon be starving? OMG
